In the face of climate change and multiple challenges to biodiversity, sweet bakery production needs to reinvent itself to maintain its place on menus by 2050.
With this goal in mind, Mademoiselle Desserts is putting its creativity and resources into research for more plant-based, low sugar, more locally sourced and zero deforestation products, while also limiting resource consumption and waste generation. Our objective: a more responsible production and guilt-free indulgence.
Mademoiselle Desserts is committed to setting an example and passing on this know-how and these values to its customers, suppliers and future partners.
Captain Decarb, our internal decarbonisation initiative
In June 2023, Captain Decarb, Mademoiselle Desserts’ decarbonisation vigilante, unveiled himself to the teams. As the guardian of the Group’s decarbonisation commitments, Captain Decarb regularly communicates with employees, presenting the latest results of our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Assessment, or updating them on our carbon strategy for instance. In addition to clearly and efficiently distribute information, we have established a genuine dialogue in which ideas and best practices are shared, and questions are answered. Captain Decarb is much more than a symbolic superhero; he embodies our commitment to working together to shape a more sustainable future.
